Completing the BSAC Ocean Diver course is an extremely rewarding experience. Mastering the skills to ensure you are safe and competent in the water is a tremendous personal achievement. That's not all, its also the keys to an absolutely amazing new world of adventures and marvels. Traditionally with BSAC reaching this gateway you would join your local club and develop the skills and knowledge over a number of weekly visits to the club and the pool facility. The alternative is an intensive course over a period of days at an appointed BSAC Training Centre, the course is the same, the objectives and standards required are the same, its a matter of your personal circumstances and available time. Here at Pharaoh Dive Club we offer the intensive course option either on a scheduled long weekend or to suit your dates. We have free unencumbered access to both confined water in the freshwater pool and open water on our protected house reef in the Red Sea. Prior to your arrival in resort, we provide you a full digital elearning experience with online presentations by your instructor that ensures we can spend as much time as possible in the water rather than in a classroom. The course is performance and assessment based, not simply time served. Each module requires a performance that reaches or exceeds the required standards before moving on to the next skill. As such we cannot state unequivocally that the course will be completed in 4 days of practical diving but we will spend as much time in the water as you individually need. If in the extremely unlikely event that we do not complete the course, with the BSAC system nothing is lost, all completed training modules are signed off and you can complete the missing modules at any other Training Centre or at your club.
